With experience spanning two decades in successful and most importantly profitable property development for our own private family groups, Potter George is now offering the opportunity for high net-worth individuals and private family groups to invest with us.

About Potter George

John met Philip George in 1986 on the Gold Coast and from there, they developed a lasting friendship that continues on today. Potter George was created in 2003 with the purchase of Radius industrial – A 250 acre parcel of land which would eventually have frontage to the Logan motorway of 1.2kms. The land was zoned industrial and was undulating and covered in scrub.

The first block of land fronting paradise road was sold in 2006 and the last block of land was sold 2014. Gross sales exceeded $165 million dollars. This project cemented their future as partners and since then, they have continued to do many large projects across the east coast of Australia.

For more than 20 years we have been delivering successful property development projects for our own private family groups. Our focus has been on quality projects that provide sustainable, fit for purpose outcomes for all stakeholders.

VISION

It is a bold statement but we are often able to see what others can’t see in property opportunities. This ultimately is what delivers above market profits. Our distinctive counter-cyclical approach to property development has ensured that we are often first to market.

OUR APPROACH

Our approach is underpinned by two key elements:

RISK AVERSION

We identify and aim to minimise all associated risks with a project. The business case must clearly demonstrate a project that will yield acceptable profit. The disposal strategy must be clearly defined and soundly executed to ensure a timely sellout. In the acquisition and disposal phases of a project, it can be all too easy to inadvertently become emotionally involved.

RELATIONSHIPS

Trust is the foundation of all our relationships.The outcomes must be mutually rewarding for us and our partners.
